“Once again, Royal Purple has made a firm believer of myself
and maintenance techs from the ELLIOTT turbo machinery company.
Recently we replaced a PAP unit that holds 150 gallons of oil.
This was the first time in 5 years that we actually opened the reservoir
for inspection.
After draining then opening the reservoir, we found that there
was a 1 inch layer of water underneath the oil that was still left
in the bottom. The water had not even condensed, which would have
created rust on the inside. The inside was completely clean!
